Consultancy Project Agreement

The Department of Psychology at SNDT Women’s University Mumbai is a well-known Department of Psychology in India and is renowned for its quality education. The department is led by Dr Nilesh Thakre who is a highly rated and regarded expert in the field of Psychology in India. Dr Thakre is recognised for his high-quality research, teaching, and consultancy services.

The consultancy agreement was signed between Dr Thakre, Professor and Head, Department of Psychology of SNDT Women’s University and Live With Joy, CEO, Mr. Ravi Iyer, and Mr. Premkumar Panicker, Director of ServRyte Technologies Pvt Ltd, on December 1st, 2023.  “Live With Joy” is a company that offers elderly care services with a compassionate and comprehensive approach. The main focus of Live With Joy is to create a sense of community that nurtures companionship, support, and belonging for parents in India who are lonely due to their children settling abroad or in another city within India. The company aims to build a strong bond with the elderly, help them overcome loneliness, and bring joy into their lives.

Live With Joy offers four service verticals for the Elderly and Lonely Parents:

1. Companionship
2. Assisted Care
3. Psychologist on call
4. Support on call 

Within the spectrum of the four outlined verticals,  Companionship and Support On Call, will be mentored and overseen by Dr. Thakre. His dedicated involvement and expertise will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective execution and provision of companionship and on-call support services to the elderly. Dr. Thakre’s leadership and commitment in these areas are poised to significantly contribute to the success and seamless functioning of these crucial components aimed at aiding the elderly.

This collaboration not only holds immense potential for the Department and the University but also opens doors as Mr Ravi Iyer from Live With Joy agreed to provide internships to other students of SNDT Women’s University. The event marks the initiation of a promising alliance aimed at making a positive impact on the well-being of elderly individuals within our community. 

This agreement signing was attended by, the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Ujwala Chakradeo, Pro-Vice Chancellor Ruby Ohja, the Registrar and the Deans of all faculties were present at the agreement signing along with faculty members of the Department of Psychology. Addressing the gathering, the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor delivered words of motivation, commending Dr. Thakre’s initiative aimed at assisting the elderly. Expressing admiration for the efforts put forth, she underscored the importance of such initiatives in fostering community welfare and lauded the collaborative spirit exhibited by the Department of Psychology
