What is SWAYAM ?
Study Webs of Active –Learning for Young Aspiring Minds (SWAYAM) is an indigenous digital platform to host MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses). The initiative has been taken by Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) and All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) with the help of Microsoft. It enables students in higher education to earn credits. As per Credit Framework for Online Courses through SWAYAM) Regulation 2016 upto 20 % credits could be earned through SWAYAM MOOCs.
