Anti Ragging Awareness – Poster and Slogan Making competition

The SNDT Women’s University arranged activities two coincide with the national week of anti ragging followed from 12^th August 2024 to 18^th August. The activities were followed by harnessing the power of education, creativity, and dialogue, these initiatives have paved the way for continued efforts in preventing ragging and ensuring the well-being of all hostel residents.

15^th August 2024

The the first part of this awareness week was started with orientation by the hostel warden on information ragging and how we can prevent this in hostel.

17^th August 2024

The second part of this awareness week followed with engaging activities for the resonance of students in the hostel like.

Student from various departments residing in hostel share their views on the legal acts, what is ragging, roles and responsibilities of anti ragging squads. The rules that can be followed if ragging happens and  what anti-ragging rules are being followed by UGC for universities and in our university what are the portals or anti ragging grievances committees that we can approach as students.

This competitions were followed by play prepared by the students to share more awareness regarding with scenarios that can be relatable and how it can happen in hostel and how to prevent and also act if something happens with the students while staying in the hostel .
